Hello everyone; Well as you can see from my title I'm retired from the Air Force (CES) and my hobby next to plumbing which I did in the service going on 35 years is, photography. And I'm a newbie at it also. I have a Nikon D7000 with several lens, 18-55mm vr, nikon 35mm f2.8, and a nikon 70-300mm ed vr. I would appreciate and all comments and/or suggestions. And I'm trying to learn how to shoot in M mode. Thanks

Great set of fall foliage. I like the fallen tree. Such contrast, color blending. I'm also USAF Retired.

The background hillside in your first photo looks faded while the sky is brilliant blue. Looks like your light sensor grabbed the foreground trees at reference.

Looking at your pics I don't think you need much help. I'd be happy to display those. Just keep shooting.

From a retired Navy "puke" , I think you did very good for an Air Farce "puke".

Lovely deep autumnal colours. And one of my favourite subjects in the last one a LOG. Thanks for posting and welcome.
