I was sat with my morning mug of coffee on the terrace when they landed within 15 feet of me.
Fortunately I have a camera by my side most times.

These are absolutely wonderful. My only criticism is the cropping. It would have been nice to see the whole bird, but hey, if you just had to grab your camera and shoot something that was likely to move very quickly, I guess that you don't have too much time to compose.

Thank you for looking and your comment.
You are absolutely right, they sat just so that they were not completely visible and I didn't want to get up for fear of scaring them away, it was quite enough putting the mug down and lifting the camera to my eye, which they were watching. They were only there for a few moments.

Lovely to hear from you again and thank you.
You will be pleased to learn that your encouragement in the past has been partially instrumental (amongst others) for me doing an exhibition of some of my images in November this year.
I have also had several requests from painters wanting my images to make paintings from and I will be displaying some of these painting as exhibits as well. I have also taken up a project to identify artists talented enough in our villages to do paintings of my images, which I will sell and they will benefit from the proceeds to encourage them onward.
A book is also in the offing and that I attribute to you 100%.
Thank you for being such a good influence and friend.
great images - again.Thanks

Thank you Erv. It certainly was. Surprised me when they settled so close to where I was seated.
