Chapel of Promise

On a hillside in Stowe Vermont on property owned by the Von Trapp family lays this tiny chapel. The story told is that one of the sons serving in the Army was caught in the heat of battle. One night as they were being shelled, he made a promise that if he came out alive he would build a chapel. Nice to see he kept his promise. We can count on Christ to do the same.

A lovely narrative and the chapel is so photogenic. Lots of ops there. He did well to keep his promise, our God always will.

I agree it's inspiring. I know I can trust in the promises of God, but not always in man.

This is such a cool chapel. I love that last shot of the interior.

The fact that we had to follow a path up a mountain which demanded effort on our part reflects our spiritual journey also don't you think.
