We paid off the mortgage on our house today (Yay!) After leaving the bank, I sent my husband a text message that was supposed to say, "I paid off the mortgage via wire transfer at the bank."

What it auto-corrected to was "I paid off the mortgage via wife transfer at the bank."

You're good....We should have paid the extra on principle, but raising three kids took care of that. It took us thirty years. Finally though, we've paid for the house and now both cars.

We've set up a separate savings account named "escrow." Every month we transfer in the monthly portion to cover insurance and taxes.

My kids tell me I should just turn off auto-correct, but I end up with some really fun ones...so I leave it on. It's a form of entertainment.
