Interesting! I put this in the category of 'suspicions confirmed'. If people were truly concerned about needless deaths then the automobile would be the prime culprit superceded only by the 100,000+ annual deaths attributed to "medical mistakes"!!

Right on target(pun intended). Truly amazing is people's in-ability to relate causes of needless death as described above. I suppose the fact that death by gun violence is more direct and media hyped. I seriously doubt majority of "gun bashers" even think about other causes of "needless death".

And the grabbers #1 target, Modern sporting rifles were responsible for less than 243 deaths. all rifles combined contributed to 243 deaths.
