India - Pied Bush Chat - Male - blowing in the wind..
The male Pied Bush Chat was photographed in the same vicinity as the female Bush Chat I have posted earlier.

Absolutely stunning photos! From the looks of the feathers, it would appear to be quite windy; I especially like the "wide open", "bokeh" background.

Superb. Love No3.... the overall detail but particularly around the eye and claw. The posture of body facing the breeze (as birds do) then great timing to catch the glance back over the shoulder. And I agree with Gitzo - wonderful background.
BTW, I recognize the same perching stick from your previous post.... obviously a favourite for these little guys. Thanks for posting another faultless image. I suspect I'll never achieve this standard, however I'm encouraged to head outside and set up a hide.... watch this space - Warren

Thank you for visiting my post and as always, great observations.
It was windy when he decided to use the perch. I was out in a farming area when I witnessed three Bush Chats, two of these were courting and they were playing a great routine of musical chairs between the haystack and this perch. It was an interesting moment for me.
