Right now I have medical insurance through my retirement, but it does not cover my wife. Up to now we have paid for a personal insurance for her, but with the new health care the premium will about double. Since she only averages about four doctor visits a year, we are thinking about just getting catastrophic insurance and pay cash for each doctor's visit. It means paying the penalty each year, but it will be far cheaper than going with the "Affordable Health Care" insurance. We make too much money to qualify for any discount.
