Hindenburg photos

I was never aware that there were survivors of the fire. These photos are quite a history lesson.

Fascinating aircraft i made quite a study of them at one time. Majestic but so much potential for disaster. Also worth looking up and studying are the two American airships one called USS Akron from memory. The other USS Macon. They had special aeroplanes called sparrowhawk to fly right inside them while on the move. An airbourne aircraft carrier. Of course it ended in tradgedy.

I read somewhere that there is a group attempting to bring the zeppelin back. I would love to see one in the air.
