The picture it paints is war. Maybe someday the chronically PC will even see it but probably not until it is being carried out on their own street in all it's gory details. One ignore that someone is at war with you but it hardly stops their aggression. I realize we, as a country, have stirred some of it up and is another reason we need to stop. It only hurst us as a nation.

And not just in Africa. Consider recent Islamic extremist al-Qaida-led atrocities in the Philippines, as well as Egypt ,and elsewhere. By conventional standards, such behavior is totally mystifying, but it is completely in accord with Islamic extremist goals, i.e., elimination of the Christian west- the Great Satan, and and the the Jews sn ISreal- total global domination. The current US administration and the US State Dept. are collectively asleep at the switch and simply refuse to acknowledge the situation for what it is-- Benghazi as only the most recent example, but there have been ample precedents, e.g., Mogadishu, the bombing of US Marine barracks, the attack on the US Navy ship in the Middle East, kidnappings and beheadings, the attack at the Olympics in Munich, etc., etc., etc.

There is no point in posting links to sites where people give their own interpretation of the Quran. It's the same as posting links to newspaper articles on scientific reports. You are only reading one persons opinion. Unless you are prepared to read either the whole Quran or the whole scientific report, you are allowing yourself to be manipulated by others.

I would think that in General you are correct.... but... I read the Bible faithfully, daily, I study it for knowledge and I use other sources to either corroborate or show as wrong, what conclusions I have come too..

For the most part, those that so actively bash the Christians and their Faith here on this Forum... PROBABLY have never done any of those things to try and get knowledge of how we think....

one can usually understand who they are by their FIRST TWO words of any post.. "YOU CHRISTIANS"

But seemingly it is an accepted way to denigrate the Christian Faith..

TrainNut....You are known by your opponents. You're in good standing. I don't understand why the left wing doesn't understand the threat of Islam. The Byzantine Empire understood the threat of the Moors a Millenium ago. The Moors defeated the B.E., however, and now Turkey is 99% Muslim.

I'm not saying that the link was incorrect but if you look at the title at the top of the tab "The Quran's Verses of Violence", I think this would suggest it's not unbiased neither is it in context.

The question is, do these verses actually mean what they appear to mean? Many times I've been able to show posters that Bible verses taken out of context do not mean what people use them to say. When you put them in their context, you can see their actual meaning. It appears, however, that the individual who wrote the link had an actual knowledge of the Kuran. Do you know that these verses mean something other than what they appear to mean? This is not the first time that I've heard this about the Kuran.

It would appear that in this case, the people involved in the mall shootings have been indoctrinated by their Imam who has ignored the "Where they have turned you out" part. It's not enough to read these things with some-one telling you what they mean, you have to read them and understand for yourself. Trouble is, not many people have the time and so rely on news reports that are always biased. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I do think we should all be aware of the problem.
