One of these days I'm going to have to though. I have all mine and my dad's and my brother's. Both have passed away and I don't want to lose all those memories.
I do one here and there for special occasions, but I spend WAY too much time on them to do more than a few.
I'd like to see some samples of the quality one can expect from all the solutions offered here.

Here are a few of my DIY samples (originals taken by my Dad). Taken with a handheld P&S (Canon Elph) in Natural light (flash off) and edited in PS Elements. Time consuming. Also beware the super glossy prints. Most of what I do is cropping, filling in with the clone stamp, touch up scratches and blemishes, and sometimes, if the grain of the photopaper appears, blur tool.
