Some great tips here! Would love some critical comments on this, especially why its not sharp....
In addition to weather, what mode were you shooting in, ie auto, manual, apeture, shutter speed etc etc
Looks like focus is off just a tad for distance of shot.

PS: My D7000 Nikon is in repair for exactly that (possible) focus problem

Taylor,
What camera did you use, what lens, what was your F-stop at, did you should manual or focus? I ask because they asked me those same questions when I had focus issues w/my gear?
Possibly low light hand held too low shutter speed of ISO. Welcome taylorjn.

Shot on a Nikon L810 at 1/1000 f4, ISO 80. Auto wb. Early afternoon daylight in March. No rain or snow. Temperature around -10c. Every other exposure that day is pin sharp.
I Have found with most lenses I very rarely use autofocus. Also if you buy a grey card and learn how to adjust your white balance this will make a fair bit of difference.

Hi Taylor Welcome! I am not sure why you picked those settings? Seem like a very high shutter speed, and F4 seems a little off to. Was it really that dark out? I think the shutter speed was the problem. I would go back and look at your other shots that were done just before this that came out and see what the camera or you did on those.
