The shots below were taken just after 6AM today (9/24 13) from my home in East Texas....Shots were taken with the OMD-EM5, hand held in manual mode with the Olympus 70-300mm lens....I used the 2x in camera teleconverter for both shots
The first shot was taken at a focal length of 281mm, 1/500 sec, F6.7, ISO 200. The second image is simply a crop of the first.
The third image was shot at 300mm with the same settings, as above; ....the fourth image is a crop of the third.
Given that these are my first attempts at the moon, I would appreciate any thoughts regarding how I can improve in the future....save, of course, not being so lazy and mounting the camera on the tripod....:-D
Thanks and enjoy....

Hard to say anything except WOW!!!! Great moon shots. I'm gonna have to try a lot harder. Maybe it's the clear Texas air. :-D
