Granddaughter pinching my camera

I had my 7 yr old Granddaughter for the day and we went for a walk. She wanted to take some pictures with my Nikon D300 which had a Sigma 70 - 300 mm normal/macro lens on so it was quite heavy for her. I was surprised how steady she held it( she does gymnastics and can do about 7 continuous pull ups on her chin bar) I took a picture of her with my phone camera and the Buddleia is one of the pictures she took.

Start 'em young. That's how to develop winners.

Thanks Angler I thought she did very good as it was the first time using it, I will have to put it under lock and key as her sister is into photography as well.

Now a very thoughtful Grandma (that I am sure you are) would buy each granddaughter her own camera so you can share some quality time together. ;-) She did good, too.

Well, Grandma I would give serious consideration to upgrading. I think you just lost your camera, Isn't it GREAT.

Tell Erin she shot a gorgeous photo

Hi Photo8 They both do have cameras and I got the eldest a tripod and I take her out to take pictures and am showing her how to use Photoshop. Thanks for comment. :D
