Creek that fills Grand Lake

And Grand Lake is the headwater of the Rio Grande, if I'm not mistaken.

That had to be a difficult shot to make due to the mountains on each side. I like how the water 'takes' you through the photo. You did a nice job on this shot.

The Rio Grande is a couple hundred miles south of this. The Rio Grande comes out of Rio Grande Reservoir, west of Creede.

Grand Lake flows into another reservoir into which the headwaters of the Colorado flow, in northern Colorado.

Doesn't the Colorado start around Grandby? Colorado Creek?

The Colorado starts about 30 miles north of Granby in Rocky Mountain National Park where several streams gradually come together to form it in a beautiful high meadow.

I'll post a couple of shots of it in a day or two.

I camped at Grandby many years ago next to Colorado Creek.
