Not a beat-up beak, covered with dirt and peanut butter/ cheeze crackers. Came right along car, shot with a 70-200 lens @ 200 mm. resting on car window, lucky.
the white feathers on its head and neck are so very fine... now i know why i can't seem to get any "details" of those feathers ... guess i need to snap with a series of exposures, series of ISOs down to minimum of camera and zoom in to max optical ... and hope and pray the bird will "model" for me ??? i just got a canon sx50hs and learning how to snap birds thanks for the high quality snaps
