Nice capture... there is a hint about what she was carefully watching above... the hint is in the bottom right corner of the photo... :)

Love both, but I almost always lean towards the B&Ws! Great image.

I think your choice not to go with B&W was the right one! She is a prim little old lady with her character established with the little bit of lipstick and that magnificent chartreuse bow...all missing in the B&W.

Thanks kavitykid, I used a Nikon 85mm f/1.8, I seldom go much longer, often 35 or 50mm.
