I was almost home and noticed the lovely calm sea, I had my little Coolpix 990 beside me so I stopped and took a few shots.
We have lived here in the same house for almost twenty seven years and I sill love it as much as when we first moved in.

How can you not love a beautiful Place like this. England is obviously a very popular tourist's country. If we had a better climate and longer summers the country would be busy all the year round IMHO. Also the English people would take more holidays in places like this, instead of going abroad. We have a place in Spain but I am sick of it and love my spot here far more than Spain.
Thanks Linda, it's always a pleasure to see your name on my threads.

I know the area well, Whitby and the N York moors, you have captured it beautifully.

I am thankful to you all, for taking your time to comment, it is very much appreciated. Graham, after seeing your latest photographs you recently posted on the forum, I am dead chuffed at your generous comment I am very pleased you liked my effort. I think the beauty of the scenery here makes up for the lack of technical skill in my piccies. I just love snapping away. I went down to the hunt kennels hoping the hounds would be out in their paddock but unfortunately they were all in the kennels. They certainly make lovely pictures. Especially when there are a few pups about.
Maybe next visit eh!

I love seeing shots of your part of the world. It looks like you had the same kind of wonderful sunny day that we had. The only difference is that we haven't had enough rain yet to turn our brown fields green. I've always loved your stone walls and hedgerows, too. Thanks for sharing these beautiful shots Graham. I can see why you love going home. -Vicki

You are lovely. Your enthusiasm about the scenery is as keen as mine. Every time we go out we pass these amazing scenes. We think how fortunate we are, living in a National Park like we do. You would never tire of it. I am a Yorkshireman, ;-) this is Yorkshire and I am as proud as Punch of this fact. Thanks Vicksart, your posting is greatly appreciated. You are up very late, you won't be able to get up in the morning.
