I am glad to see this. Nikon certainly has had enough of my dollars over the years to do something very much worth while. Now if they will just come on down to Florida when we have our next big hurricane, they will be a truly great company.

This kind of advertising has no price, and is good karma, also!

There shall be no 'next big hurricane' in Florida. What a thing to say in my soon to be first year here ( Dec 2nd )

Is it me or does $50,000 seem somewhat on the stingy side for a corporation the size of Nikon?

Think of it this way. How many other corporations sent anything at all.

Really? You sound like a woman I dated once, no matter what I did it was just never enough.

Thank you Nikon, we in America appreciate your thoughtfulness and your most generous gift.

Oh yes, I forgot that you are not a native and don't really know about these things. I just lived through my 80th hurricane season and I am still here. A little worse for the wear, but still here.

They didn't have to give ANYTHING. It's a donation, and if it were fifty cents it should be appreciated for what it is.
