I visited here while on vacation.I was leaving the village when I stopped for gas. When I looked at the village one last time this picture was looking back at me. Right place right time.

Yes, Mahone Bay is across the bay from Peggy's Cove.

I have family in Coldbrook and have been whale watching from Brier Island a couple of times.

You're right about the right time/spot. Sure is pretty. But if you go to Digby Bay you go for Scallops. Best in the world. DJT

Thanks dj. Yes, been there done that. And one of the best spots to get them in Digby is at the Irving Big Stop just off the highway. Inexpensive and a good sized portion. And the best place for Clams is the Five Islands / Parrsboro area. Also a great spot for pictures all along the shore from Parrsboro to Advocate.
