Hey...at least it's not MY shoe. :)
Pancho has been getting a bit bigger lately so I've been trying to cut down on the amount of dog food he's getting.
This morning he was definitely still hungry after breakfast so he grabbed a shoe (his signal that he wants to trade it for a butt-scratch session or a bite of hot dog.)

I know this feeling well. Learned to pick up and put away my shoes the hard way. Also, NEVER leave the closet door open.
friend of mine has a dog like that. she came home from work and shoes were chewed up, sofa, tp
So,rpavich, your dog is the local shoe napper... Pancho is a bit wayward, but the more I look into those eyes, well, how can ya not love Pancho. Good ear scratching rpavich; you have captured Pancho's soul the moment he captured a sole.

Very cute!!! Pugs are great! There are several hat come in the store where I work and they are always so happy to receive any amount of attention that I need to give away.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
Luckily..Pancho doesn't chew shoes...he only carries them to me and dumps them at my feet.
By the end of a weekend morning, I might have several pairs of shoes around my chair at the dining table. :)

Take a hint rpavich, dogs have sensitive noses and Pancho wants your feet in shoes. Pancho is perhaps trying to tell you that you need to wash those West Virginian feet more often.
When I lived in the real Virginia, the one East of you, it was rumored that you West Virginians did not wear shoes and that due to the mountains one leg was longer. But, I never believed that!! It was only because W. Virginia is incredibly beautiful, and has great photographers and dogs.
That also brings up a funny story that my step-son brought home from boot camp.
He was in the chow hall and recognized another recruit from here and they started to talk a bit (quietly)
The other recruit (we'll call him Smith) was a head taller than all the others.
Recruit Smith smiled during their conversation and the D.I. saw it...oh no....!
The D.I. came over and started in on them:
D.I. "What's funny? Why are you smiling!!??"
Recruit Smith: "Sir, I know Recruit Magnuson from home, Sir!"
D.I. "Recruit Magnuson...say that you missed Recruit Smith and are glad to see him!"
Recruit Magnuson: "Sir, I've missed Recruit Smith and I'm glad to see him!"
D.I. "Recruit Smith...say that you missed Recruit Magnuson and are glad to see him!"
Recruit Smith: "Sir, I've missed Recruit Magnuson and I'm glad to see him!"
(The D.I. then asks what state my step-son is from...lol...)
D.I. "Recruit Magnuson...what state are you from?"
Recruit Magnuson: "Sir, I'm from West Virginia sir!"
So the D.I. Says....
D.I. "Oh no! This changes things doesn't it? Recruit Magnuson! Say that you missed your cousin; Recruit Smith and are glad to see him!"
My step-son said he wishes he'd have just used some other state....:)
he's telling you to put your shoes on and go get some mo' groceries!
It looks like my shoe. I must have misplaced it. Where do I come get it or is it worth picking up??
