first rain of the season, then the sun comes out and then airborne wood eaters, then the dragonflies swarm in a feeding frenzy, they catch the termites bite the abdomen off and drop the still crawling bits on the ground,me, and the car. Got pretty exciting very quickly. Shot four videos but don't have any software yet to get em on youtube
yes,i saw dozens of them in the spring.every spider i found was eating one.nice shots
It's funny how when they get to their new nest they all drop their wings...millions of wings littering the ground. Great shots. ;-)

Bob - Excellent series. First shot with winged males traveling along the grooves in the wood, excellent composition. I really like the dulled sheen on the wings. Are you using the diffused MT-24?

thank you and yes on the MT-24, the wind was blowing tree branches so light was going from blasting bright to shade and back the whole time.
