I would like to give this young lady this photo for the holidays. But I would like the person standing on the right side towards the end of the barn, gone. Also I wouldn't mind darkening the blown out (outside) area at the end of the barn. I thought maybe someone with PS might be able to help me out?

Thanks in advance!

Can you crop him out? Leave just a smidgen of the right doorway. Just enough to define to door edge.
I believe the would look great.
I'm not used to darkening part of an image.
I'm sure others will jump in.
Pat

Thanks Jay pat, I suppose I could, but I kinda like seeing the entire barn. It's not that bad if I can't get rid of the intruder, just thought it would be better without.

I'm pretty much of a hack at P Shop but did this quick one for you to check out.

Tracey,

All the usual disclaimers, small image size, bit of a rush, Mercury is in retrograde etc ;-).

Here's what I did in Elements:

I straightened the photo 1 degree to the left. I cropped out dude, the blue box in the bottom right, and some of the ceiling, there was too much in the photo not horse and rider. Then I used the magic wand tool to select the white parts at the end of the barn and did a -10 brightness to each. Next I rather hastily outlined the bright part with the magnetic lasso, if you look closely you will see the edges, and I used levels to darken that part. I then used levels on the entire photograph and sharpened just a touch.

Whaddya think?

Eric

Thanks Swamp and Eric, appreciate it!!

I prefer Swamps, just because other than taking out the person, I like seeing the entire barn, even the blue tack box. I think she would like that too. Must be a horse person thing, ;) besides she is taking him to the right side of the barn. If someone is willing, I could email the original file for editing...??

Appreciate your efforts!!!

Not HDR Tracey, I used PSE 10 & Topaz Adjust 5.

Nice Erv, thanks. The crop really resized the image though?

Bob, PS is like Greek to me! HDR I get, LOL....but Topaz is foreign language to me. Doesn't matter, I don't need to understand it.
