Kingfishers Are Hard To Catch

I try and try to get these little fellows in flight...to no avail :oops: The flight shots are pretty far away and cropped to death ;-)

Not only are they fast they fly erratically...I think I would do better with a 400 prime...which is on my wish list;-) Thanks for the vote of confidence...glad you liked them Terri :-D

The Kingfisher is my number one photo goal when I go out on the river. I have never ever gotten such great shots! Always just a fuzzy crop. Seems like the closest I can ever get is at the far end of my zoom and then off they go!
