The Immanuel Lutheran Church of Hepler, Kansas was established on the prairies in 1882. Its a beautiful country church that is just as pretty on the inside as the outside. Today we were there for the weekly Thursday lunch, which is always worth the drive. Pastor Hobson gave me permission to go in the sanctuary to take pictures and this very ornate Altar is the first thing you see when entering.

Pretty ornate Alter I'd say. I think the Lutherans go all out. The Lutheran Church here is also very beautiful and ornate. Really good HDR work too, very pleasing!

Thanks James! I was told last night of another Lutheran country church, I'll have to go check it out.
