Random Alaskan Shots in Fall

These shots are ones I have taken recently on trips around the state ...fall comes usually in the middle of August...a short season that starts early in the Northland...but is glorious to behold...
Mighty Denali can often be seen in it's finest in the fall
Benka Lake sunshine woods
fireweed now dying in a blaze of RED
color upon the floor of the Birch grove
leaves flutter down to cover a trail
between the trees the yellow leaves of fall can be seen across the lake
summer flowers still bright at the Hotel in Talkeetna...Mnt McKinley can be discerned overlooking the scene

Thanks we already have our trees changing ...when most people begin to have fall colors in October, we are often having our first snowfall...
