Hate to disagree with you Bram Boy, but birds can and do eat many berries that are poisonous to humans but not to Birds..

Snip off a bunch with some of twig and leaves and take to your Agriculture Agent... they should know for sure...

Mike

P.S. Living in Florida (Brevard County) for 20 years I learned that there are LOTS AND LOTS of things that are not good for the humans there ...... lol

do you live there and is this the first time you seen them. if not ask the first person who lives there. he or she should be able to tell you right away

American Beautyberries - INEDIBLE to humans - as are the juniper and cedar berries that waxwings gorge on, and the yaupon berries that our local mockingbirds dine on.

Juniper berries aren't poisonous to humans. They are used to make spice and they also give the distinctive flavour to gin.

They look like American Beauty-berries, Callicarpa Americana They can be used to make jelly but understand they aren't that interesting in flavor. Native Americans used the leaves as a mosquito repellent, and other parts to treat colic or a diuretic
