Thanks for all the links.... I have been on a little over 1/2 of those shown.

I fail to understand why a person on foot, let alone on a Motorcycle would like to ride the "Worlds Most Dangerous Road" but then I am a chicken...hahaha....

The Dragons Tail in Tennessee and North Carolina claims a few lives each year...Not to accidents, but to foolishness. Motorcyclists who may be very good riders, but over ride their abilities... Of course there are those BIG MOTORHOMES coming around the curves... BUT they know that they will be there...... OH Well, I enjoyed riding it at well below "PUCKER" spped.

In 2004 I and a Friend were heading for Arizona and were in the semi mountainous area of Southern Utah. Many of the twists and turns were sharp and nothing could be seen until you had rounded the curve. About 15 BMW Riders passed us on a relatively straight part of the road. We continued on for probably 20mins or so and suddenly a lone BMW rider went around us at a Blind Curve and totally lost his lane and ran head on into an older Ford Pickup (Totally in his lane) with an older gentleman and lady and a 13/14yr old girl. My friend and I parked our bikes and ran to the rider who was laying about 10 feet BEHIND the truck. As we got there, he was trying to say something... Blood running from under his jacked. Before he could complete what he wanted to say, he died....... There was a motorhome there that had a satellite phone and he called the UTAH State Police. He told us that they said that they were at least 20 minutes away. We waited and gave our testimony as to what had happened and went on our way. Happy that we did not try to ride beyond our abilities..

In a little over 750,000 miles of riding on Gold Wing Motorcycles, I have decided that there is Beautiful Scenic Roads in EVERY STATE.... some are more twisty, some are more gentle and some just pop up with something new at every opportunity... RIDE AND ENJOY

I guess I have missed some exciting roads....NOT... lol
having ridden 752,000 miles in 30 years (average of 25,000 per year) I feel blest to have seen all the wonderful scenery and Beautiful Places I have...

That would be the main reason I would not be very interested in riding any of these roads..... Seems like looking at ??? miles of pavement/gravel/whatever and not being able to look at the wonders that are there would be not only boring, but tiring.... Just my humble opinion for sure...
