Nothing has changed Rix. You try to make it seem so even to the point of making Socialism more appealing over conservative Capitalism. You, Rix are a fraud.

You can thank Reagan for that - the beginning of the trickle-down economics fantasy.

RixPix: You by now should know that Vampires hate mirrors and refuse to look at snapshots of pre-Vampire days. They all walk the party line.

RixPix, do not walk into a Biker's Bar at 1 AM and start telling them to ride bicycles for good health and adding a few comments on morality.. They will never hear. The Brown Shirts could not see themselves do not expect more of the FarRightWing marchers. Lockstep is the way.

During WWII there were two kinds of Socialism. The Neo-Nazi party and the Russia Communism. dpullum is of the Russian Type. I guess you could call him a Neo-Socialist. I wonder if he can 'goose step.'

That is your interpretation!!! I was referring to the BSA and their desire for uniformity of thought .... Note the shirt is brown. Perhaps you feel that the right wing mood is not like the boy scouts... conservative and virtuous and uniform of thought.

BROWN SHIRT UNIFORM OF CONSERVATIVE VIRTUE

Neither of them were what their name stated. Both were Fascist and controlled by radical authoritarian nationalism headed by a despotic sociopath/psychopaths. Communism is like the Shakers a religious group in early USA. "Shakers practiced what they preached. Even the “movers” of the Shakers. Elders and leaders lived exactly as others did."
http://wormme.com/2010/07/26/the-other-reason-why-shaker-communism-worked/

You are saying that my political views are the Russian type of socialism. Oh really??? Is that why I voted for Ike, Nixon, Perot, Ronny the first time, and many state and local... indeed Republican candidates. Registered as an Independent and vote by issue and candidate not by party.

I suppose you still call China a Comunist Country rather than recognizing that they are hot and heavy into Capitalism!! While we are on the decline trying to reinstate the ologarcy of the late 1800s and early 1900s that lead this country to disaster. Do do some reading about political systems and hybrid political systems. The USA has many "socialist" systems that have made this country great. President D. Eisenhower, used borrowed money from the social security and sold bonds to build Interstate Highways. A socialistic like project for the good of all the population or you travel dirt roads?? Rural electrification? Flood control? Free Public schools? Specifically what do you want to get rid of.. is anarchy better, survival if the fittest, post apostolic, what floats the boat of the far right... we know they hate a lot of things... what do they want construct rather deconstruct. Do they want a child with childhood diabetes (genetic) to die young with no insurance... The Romney Affordable Republican Health Care act gives him insurance and a longer life. Do you want that young person to die???? What beyond name calling and one liners do you hate folks offer??? What? If you hate Obama because of race, then I respect your choice tho I do not agree with it for myself. I understand the south it is my heritage and I moved to the south in the 60s and saw the pain in the hearts of the ol' boys how's life was being overturned and all their belief of natural superiority destroyed... difficult for them and many even now,,, 50+ years afterward.

So IMO and that of many others some Socialism is good, extreme controls all production, not so good. But I do want to know my Flu vaccine, meat, etc is controlled and overseen, that we have traffic lights to control the population of drivers... etc... all government controls. We need them. So some good, too much bad to put it in simplistic 8th grade level understanding.

Please do some reading and do watch the slander by broad, stop the simplistic thinking you are capable of more. And capable of more than one liners. Know details of this complex world. Ole' Sharg where are you, come back from the PX??

Kombiguy    I knew you would bite on sleeve of that brown shirt... have used it before... same fish bit. In the words of the great Republican Baby Bush,,, aaa fool me once, fool me twice and aaaaa oh well.. can't recall the rest!

Nice try, Pullum. Everyone that gets called out always tries the old "I did it on purpose" line. Truth is, you made a nazi comparison, got caught, and are now trying to rationalize, explain, and joke it away. Try being a man and apologizing for a comment made in poor taste.

Kombiguy, I am not a political scientist but was a boy scout for a while and found it too regimented similar to the small town baptist church I attended. At 10 I dumped both and focused on science.

Wish I could recall when I thru that bate out in UHH, but truly I did.

One of my first science projects was the study of ducks and found that it is a big general classification. There are basic characteristics for identification tho the degree of duckism varies. You first note if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck .... etc. Well simple story of how birds get in trouble joining a flock with out critical observation... could be a swan in that pond; if so it should better its self by critical thinking rather than being critical of trends like migration etc.
