all weather camera?

Hi everybody. This is my first post and have been told I can find what I need to know and more here. I just returned from Mexico where I lost my camera and my underwater camer died. I'd like to replace both with one camera. Any suggestions?

Love your Avatar! I've been doing alot of reading and it seems like finding a waterproof one isn't the problem, it's finding one with a good picture quality. I don't dive, just snorkel so depth isn't a problem. The camera I had before had a casing that was a pain in the butt. It worked well, I'd just like to get one I can use in and out of the water with good picture quality. And not mess with a casing.

Take a Look at the Pentax Optio WG-1 and Optio WG-1 GPS a Friend got 1 for a alaska trip and it did a great job

Canon is coming out with a 35mm camera that is waterproof down to 200ft. in March just read a mag. at library.
