Besides Canon's DPP, is there any other software currently that will process raw images from a Canon 70D. I have checked Picasa, Elements II and DxO none of which will process the raw images. thanks.

The camera is great. I don't use the camera to take video, so I don't notice the change as much. I upgraded from a T5i and it does focus more quickly. The camera has more focus points. It appeared to me to be a natural progression from the Rebel series. The main difference for me was the 20 MP vs 18 MP which isn't all that much. I could have probably purchased a 60D and I would have been fine. Good luck. Go to DP Review and see what they say.

I have the 7D - - IF the 70D had been available for it's current price at the time I bought the 7D - - I would have gotten the 70D. But - don't think I need 2 DSLRs as I am just a Rabid Hobbyist. Likely I could SELL the 7D, Buy a 70D, and still have some change left over - - will have to think about that option. Could still keep and use all my old lenses too.
