I recently shot this downtown and I would like to hear any comments you guys might have. Truthfully I wish that I had framed it with the base of the poll in the lower right corner and I also don't like that the top "touches" the building. Am I just over-thinking things?

I think you are right about the base, but I like the reverse angle of the building. All in all it is not a bad shot Dave, and at least you know yourself what you would do next time???

It's a nice sharp photo, but I agree about the base. I like the top touching with the opposite angles.

I agree with your thoughts, but you did well to see the potential and angle in the first place, nice shot.

If you hadn't mentioned the touching elements, I might not have noticed :) but that aspect is slightly troubling. However, the framing and angle work for me. Very interesting and creative image!

I would get rid of the building entirely and somehow stress or emphasize the pearl-like quality of the globes. Those really got my attention.

In Photoshoppe CS 6 you can use a content tool that is aware of whatyou wanted to take a picture of and can remove that building and it will replace the sky behind the building.

Try that.

Sorry for the confusion but I was just commenting that it is a nice pic but I personally would have tried a way to emphasize the globes in the pic which are remarkable. I do not want to edit the pic but thanks for your reply.
