The contrast between the two just really made me stop and back into a small area off the road
Great shot .... bet You could get more shots just around the old house
I love it...a great contrast and composition.
I am sure you are right, if I had not been pressed for time I might have given it a try, but the growth was pretty thick around the house. I imagine given the time of year etc and the fact it was in VT the snake issue would not have been too much of a problem. But being a Floridian and knowing we have Rattlesnakes you can put a saddle on, I didn't have enough motivation LOL

Tad, as usual another great shot!, great contrast between the two, would love to see more of the old house, to bad time was an issue for you,,thanks as always for sharing
Thanks Rick, might be able to do better this next year, got a new walker and it's got a basket to carry cameras and I can lay my tripod across the seat, LOL might have to put on the fins of a 59 Cadillac
Very eye catching photo! Nice job.

laughs, I jsut got off a walker, I had both knees replaced on sept 27, but am off of it now and walking pretty good, still be at least the first before I get back to work though, I really admire your work, its inspiring, thanks
Thanks Rick did you have both knees done at the same time. I saw a tv segment on Hugh Downs he had both replaced at the same time, I can only imagine that is both painful and awkward. Glad you are on the mend

That's the Old First Church going into Bennington, Vt. at the top of the hill. Robert Frost in buirried there in the back of the cemetery.
I really like the contrast between the two buildings. It makes me want to explore the old house.
