I actually saw that this morning on the internet. I think I'll send my kids a check - they tend to overlook my faults when money comes their way. Ha, ha.

nothing said about the bitch's husband, he must have been just as bad, ugly, blind or extremely hard up for sex to have made it with her "8" times no less

Evil has no alias; there are some truly evil people in the world.

Do not doubt, not for 1 moment, that there is evil in the world, and evil people as well.

My Great Grandmother, on my Mother's side, passed away after 97 years on earth when I was 11. After her funeral, the extended family was devided amoung several limos for the ride to the burial. My twin and I were deposited in a vehicle with our Grandfather, on our Father's side, a fine gentleman and a good judge of character, for the trip.

Pop leaned over during the ride and asked us, if we knew why our recently departed Great Grandmother was in a coma for three days prior to her death. We both denied knowing the reason, so Pop explained, "It took the devil and the Good Lord 3 days of arguing to decide who would get stuck with her for all of eternity".

Funerals celebrates some people's lives, and some people's death.

I've never doubted that there are evil people, and this lady may well have been one of them (probably was). My comment just had to do with the public pronouncement via an Obit -- I just don't recall ever seeing a person's evil qualities published in an Obit -- thought that part was the most interesting issue in this situation.

The Door Greeter:
A very loud, unattractive, hard-faced bitch walks into a store with her two kids in tow, screaming obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.

The door greeter says, "Good morning and welcome - nice children you've got there - are they twins?"

The fat ugly woman stops screaming long enough to snarl, "Of course they bloody aren't! The oldest, he's nine and the younger one, she's seven. Why the hell would you think they're twins?... Do you really think they look alike, ya dickead?"

"Absolutely not," replies the greeter, "I just can't believe anyone would shag you twice!"

Something is amiss here. The woman was about 78 when she died, therefore making her children starting about 58 years old. If all of them were tortured as the obit stated, why did any of them not have the gall to leave her behind in the dust, as soon as they were eligible to do so?

I was beaten with boards, belts, belt buckles, paddles, 2x4's and many other objects. I was also tied to chairs with nylon hoses for hours, and even had my hands put in the gas flame of the stove. She had gone to a mental institution for a short period of time, during her life.
One time when about 16 I asked if I could learn to drive, I had saved money from odd jobs, picking up pop bottles, shining shoe in bars, etc until I had about $400, and said I would pay for it myself. She said no. So I turned around and left the kitchen, I didn't say a word, but she felt that I was in a huff, later to learn.

I went through 3 rooms and into the living room and was looking out the window, she came behind me grab a hand full of hair, pulled my head back and pounded her fist into my face. I just let her, and she hit me many times in that position. Eventually my nose was running with blood, and as she hit me it was starting to splatter around, that is when she stopped. I went back to an erect position and turned to her and said do you want to hit me any more, I'll just stand here as the blood continued to flow down my face and onto my shirt.

A few months later my father tried to use fists on me. When he swung, I caught his fist in the palm of my hand and informed him that he was not ever going to do that to me again.

As soon as I graduated from HS I joined the Marines and left the house. While in boot camp most Marines say it was a very trying part of their life. Myself I found it to be child's play compared from where I came. The yelling and screaming in ones ear was normal home life, the threats of bodily injury were a joke to me. One of the junior DI's was admonishing me for something I didn't do, and while waving a fist in front of my face accidentally hit me in the mouth with a very large ring and split my lip. When the blood started to flow I almost laughed in his face because of how pale he got. He could have been in very deep do-do, but I said the incident never happened.

How this revert to the OP is that while injurious at the time, it does make one strong. Strong enough to leave the evil behind. One does not need to voluntary accept such actions if one does not really want to. I am proof.
