Your point however only serves to validate theirs. They are against government social largess, you are against funding a war. Forget who is right. The other guy is always wrong. If you had taken the time to read all of this thread instead of just selected responses, you would have seen why I said what I did. Someone accused me of supporting Obama because I wanted "free stuff" and that I was probably a moocher and living off the government dole. I responded with the post that pissed you off so much. It was simply a response that indicated that I did not fit the stereotype of a lazy loafer with my hand out. It was not an attempt to be a braggart as you indicate.

I disagree, Croce. I did not support the war, but I paid my taxes without complaint because I knew that there was no way to separate my tax dollar from that of someone else.
