Thanks for sharing - went raspberry picking with my Golden one time - heard some noise and looked over and he had his head in the bucket eating the berries I had just picked. "HEY" I said - "If you want berries pick your own"! A little later I heard this odd noise - "Pluck...chomp chomp chomp....Pluck...chomp chomp chomp" and sure enough, he was carefully grasping the raspberries and lifing them up so that he could pull them off the vine and then eating them. Good boy!

Its fun to watch them, my old long gone dog picked the low ones , I picked the high ones but my other one waited for me to pick them for her. Must be good for them as the foxes eat them as well. :D
Ours come in in July. My brother and his wife used to celebrate the July 4th by picking blackberrries. We didn't have as many this year because of so much rain.
That's about 12 weeks earlier than ours. Are yours wild in the hedges like ours?
Went blackberry and apple picking with daughter, grand-kids and dogs. Roddy helped a lot but ate all he picked.
Great shots nanaval, we were down Mullion last year and on the road down to the cove were the best blackberries I've ever tasted, and there were umpteen bushes to pick from.
