I am new to this site, but not to photography. I have been shooting one thing or another for over 50 years. Now that I have retired, I have more time to discover the hobby I love. I am inspired by all the help from the readers of this site and appreciate it. Over the years I have made some good shots, now I want to figure out just why they turned out so well. Thanks.

Welcome aboard. You have lots of company. You and I are part of a large group of ladies and gentlemen on this site who are retired and now want to focus on photography. Lots of great pictures and nice people to help us along.

Good morning Mike. You are just a couple stone throws from where I live in Clinton. I have a film camera also but haven't used it in awhile because the last time I tried buying film, the selection was scanty. Where do you get your film?

Good Morning......I don't have a film camera, I have two digital cameras, Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 70D.

No problem. I do mostly landscapes. I love the Bay and also the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are fortunate to live close to both the ocean and the mountains. Don't get much better than that. I also have a 4 year old grandson that gets most of my attention.
