I do hate to admit this but I have forgotten how to make a print and put it onto the 'puter. I have an HP Deskset f4280.
I know how to make a print but how to get in the computer. Am I making any sense? Every now and then I have brain freeze and this hasn't come to me at all today.
Thank You for anything you can tell me.

I hope I understand you correctly. It is usually easier to transfer your images to the computer by inserting your memory card into a card reader or directly into your computer if your computer has memory card slots. Either way, once its inserted, go to 'my computer' and find the file of the image you're working on. You can then either process (edit) it if you have an editing program or click on it to bring it up on the screen and then print it by hitting control p.

If you really want to transfer a print into your computer rather than transferring the file directly from the memory card, your printer has a scanner. Scan the print and you should get a choice as to whether you want print the image or save as a file. You would save as a file and then go to 'my computer' find the file and either process it, or attach it to an email to send to grandchildren, etc., or simply make more prints by clicking on the file and hit control p.

This explanation presupposes that you are using a PC. If you're using a mac, forget what I said.

Kayautho, Thank You so much!! My 'puter is a PC and what you told me is right on!! I wish to copy old pictures that I have and put them on a CD. Some of the pictures go back to the '30s', even a few earlier than that.

If you have saved your photos in "Pictures" on Windows Operating System, all you have to do is click on the picture and then there's a "print" right at the very top.

Joyfulee, thank you also. I don't know whether it is age or the meds I am on, but there are times when this old brain of mine just doesn't work very well.

JK, do you mind if I call you JK?? Thank you. I don't think it is age either. For some reason I just had a wake up call regarding my age! JL

It is kind of an age thing JacLee. We’re kind of like an old computer, you get so many files and so much in memory that it takes our brain’s search engine forever to go through all those files we have stored. Sometimes it’s just faster and simpler to ask the younger folks who have a little less clutter to filter though.
Is all or any of that statement true? Probably not but it sure makes me feel better when I have those occasional brain far*^s.
God Bless!

Ladies, I have experienced on occasion, what my sister and I call a "senior moment," that for the life of me (or her) we can't remember....something!

So don't feel bad, it happens to the best of us! We just need to keep bringing new things into our minds to keep them...activated!

Blessings! :-)

Oh yes, those Senior moments!

I suppose I should agree with both of you. I will be 80 in July. That sounds so "OLD", but I don't feel that I am that old. WOW!! I have been quite ill for a couple years, but I am just fine now, except they have me on so many meds that I tend to blame that.

I don't mind a bit...:) I retired in 2009...decided that I would start adding the two numbers together and stay forever YOUNG...:)

You are only as "OLD" as you feel...:)

I have always believed that - "That you are only as old as you feel". And I feel pretty young, except when I can't remember things. ;-D)

I know that feeling...put something down for a minute, then spend half an hour looking for it... I've done that...and I'm a few years younger than you...
