I asked for help with Depth of field, I wanted more out of focus background. I received plenty. After digesting all the suggestions, here are a couple of photos exhibiting my results. Thanks Ugly hedgehog.

Nice job. When I shoot sports, I usually take my 80-200mm f2.8. It is great for sports and has great bokeh. The lens and settings are very important. Keep practicing. Shooting at maximum aperture is also a plus.

Nice in close as compared to the shots from before. Although there's the risk of getting trampled, :-) I'd try being down on a knee or lower for these mite sized players.
