I'm not seeing red.......they look good to me....but I'd occupy the hand in the first one with a cute toy of some sort. Otherwise, these look as nice as the studio photos I had made of my children (years ago) :( I wonder if I had them as babies now if they'd ever get fed or changed because I'd have the camera pointed at them all the time!!!

This is purely a personal opinion and I do not want to hurt your feelings -but I would remove the head band. And I agree they are a tad under exposed. But a beautiful baby to be sure. :D :thumbup:

Thanks for your opinion, I agree the bow should go but the mother wanted it! And never worry about hiring my feelings I am far from professional and what I like about this borde is that everyone is honest an I have learned a lot! So thanks and keep the comments coming!

What many fail to realize is that everyone is viewing on a different monitor, with different color adjustment. That being said, these images are will within the zone of tolerances on color and exposure.
Babies should not have a yellow, blue or green cast. Healthy babies are in fact a bit pink as they should be. Concerning the exposure on these shots, they too are well within an acceptable range. I might try a bit more "snap" to see how I liked it, but there isn't anything "wrong" with how you have processed these images.
To those who tell you otherwise, I would merely suggest that you either ignore them or tell them to piss off. Stop asking for permission to be you, you don't need validation just keep doing what you are doing, and be your own best critic. . .you have a good eye, trust and use it.

She did ask for creative suggestions. You are right that everyone sees things differently as well as having different monitors, however I see the pictures on my calibrated monitor as being a bit underexposed.

Good poses, nice composition, in addition, I agree with most everything that has been written to date. A bit underexposed and the head thing needs to go, regardless of what mom thinks is cute.

I think #1 is a great photo. I wish you had hit "store" when you uploaded it because it is difficult to tell what the focus is like when we can't "download" the picture. Usually the focus is much better when we can. Other than that, you might try to brighten #1 a bit, it does seem to be just a tad underexposed. Otherwise, she brightened my day when I saw her.

Thank you for the suggestions, I agree they looked a little under exposed. I come here for suggestions and opinons, I don't always agree with them like the red, I just don't see it in the pictures but that is someone's opinion and I will either take it or leave it, I don't get pissy with people when they tell me what is wrong because I asked and I respect everyone and I think photography is a personal opinion, I have seen several photo's on here that were just kind of ok, and other loved but then I have seen some I loved and others thought were ok. It's nice to hear different perspectives on things so while I appreciate your post I don't think I would ever tell someone to piss off because they didn't like my pictures or said something negative about one. That is just not who I am. But thanks for all of the suggestions and advice, I will keep working. :thumbup:

You are right about everyone seeing the photos differently. If a monitor is calibrated, chances are the color is pretty accurate. My monitor is calibrated and I see a little too much red and they are slightly underexposed. But if the coloring looks right on the OP's monitor, in other words, matches the real life baby's skin tone, then she knows she's got it right. So she can ignore the red comments.
I agree, there is not enough 'snap'. What would you do toe accomplish more 'snap'? That explanation might help the OP and others.
