Stopped at McDonalds in Columbus, Kansas...wife had a Big Mac meal, I ordered the 1/4 pound habanero burger...I always open the bun on any fast food purchase and this is why...today there was no beef!

I figured if they could screw up something as simple as that, what else might be wrong. We took the whole order back to the counter and got our money back then went and ate somewhere else.

Got a fast food folly? Might as well share it here...

yeah, no kidding...the kid that was putting the burgers together had his cell phone in one hand while he was working...I noticed that as the manager was giving me the money back.

Hey wrr.... I misinterpreted this as 'Where's the BIF...? Fast Food Follies'. We have the Kookaburra in Australia which is infamous for diving down and snatching food at picnics etc. I half expected a photo of a bird doing this and I thought - WOW! this is a must see!!

In any case, I got a huge laugh out of both my stupidity and your amusing story. Good one!!!

I took one of my grand-daughters to McDonalds for lunch when I was visiting a few years back. I asked her what she wanted and she said a hamburger. We sat down to eat and I saw her take the beef patty off the pun and start eating it. When I questioned this, her response...."Paw Paw Mike I didn't order the bun, I just wanted a hamburger."

I once ordered a roast beef sandwich at a restaurant I had eaten at before and noticed the beef seemed to be extremely tough and dry. When I opened the bun and looked there was no beef, only layers of newspaper. It's a good idea to look before you eat.

I agree....I'll give you another one....I was a detective in a computer Forensics lab my last few years on the job. We often went out to get lunch at several places we often frequented. One day, one of the lab techs noticed something in his milk shake....Turned out to be blood...One of the employees that had a dislike for the police had spit into the milk shake.
