This light is located in Point Gratiot, NY.
The keepers house, ground level, is restored very well to what it looked like for the last light keeper with many pictures of him from that time.

This bell is mounted on the grounds. In reviewing these images, I think the bell may have been mounted on the steel tower on the right side of image 3. Can't tell for sure, maybe a fog horn mounted on the right side of the steel tower.
The Lyle Cannon was found in several museums we visited later only explanation of shooting a rope to a shipwreck just off from the lighthouse to aid in rescue. Later, I have a great display of the rescue equipment.
The diesel donkey engine was used at Liberty Island lighthouse.

Excellent pictures Jay but looks like too much leaning in the buildings.

In almost all of the images, I use the straighten tool to minimize the distortion as best as I can for the overall view.
As these are snap shots of what I see, I don't spend too much time with adjustments.
Thanks very much for commenting!
