Mürren is a traditional Walser mountain village in Bernese Oberland, Switzerland, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,413 ft.) above sea level and unreachable by public road. Tourism is popular through the summer and winter; the village features a view of the three towering mountains: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Mürren has a population of just 450, but has 2,000 hotel beds.
Mürren has its own school and two churches, one Reformed and one Roman Catholic. (Wikipedia)
We love vacationing in this quaint village because it is not accessible by car, only cable car and train. Since we prefer hiking over skiing, we enjoy visiting in the summertime, where there are all-level hikes and lots of other interesting summer activities. Friendly and quiet town, English spoken everywhere, not touristy, good little restaurants, a baker, bank, supermarket and other little shops. We rented a flat for a week and had a terrific time!

Great set. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful photos. What an amazing place to see!!
Absolutely beautiful although I question the structural integrity of some of those buildings. Looks like a great place to visit in the summer.
The Swiss are very careful about maintaining their buildings and the building codes are very strict. The barns you see are not for residential purposes. They build much stronger and better insulated structures in Switzerland than in the US.
So you know it well!
I need to go start packing now ... excuse me ... :)
Great shots, I'm jealous!
