It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president." - from Prager Zeitungon, a newspaper in the Czech Republic, about America.
The politicians have found, and nurtured, their gravy-train. It's not likely they will give it up without a fight. I'm NOT talking about Democrats or Republicans, but BOTH. It's kind of sad the Democratic voters feel they are the "chosen people" right now because it's a Democrat Administration. In truth, they are no more highly regarded by the gross political crowd than Republican voters. It's like thinking if you are friendly to the Mexican drug cartels they won't cut your throat and put your head on a fencepost. Dream on...
We, the taxpayers (about 50% or so of the population) are nothing more than $$ in the eyes of the politicians who routinely lie to us and misrepresent us. My firsthand experience comes from Harry Reid, D-NV, and Dean Heller, R-NV. Heller is only marginally better than Reid in terms of honesty and representation.
In California, they have Diane Feinstein, D-CA, who said "Sure, 90%+ of my constituency is opposed to striking Syria, but they don't know what I know." Why does she not tell them what she knows? (She said basically the same thing about the Assault Rifle Ban in 1994.) She thinks she represents some extremely stupid people. And make no mistake: She's not just talking about her Republican constituency! The Republican voters are no smarter than the Democrat voters, though they may not be quite as misled by their politicians.
