Having trouble keeping track of charged vs. discharged batteries?
AA batteries fit nicely in some pill bottles.
positive (+) end up if charged !
positive (+) end down if discharged !
AA batteries held in a bunch with rubber band?
Charged bunch? All facing the same way !
Discharged bunch? Arranged randomly ( + up as well as down) !
Proprietary Batteries?
Charged: rubber band around the lomg dimension!
Discharged: rubber band around the middle!

You're right. I forgot to mention the sandwich, which brings up an important point. Although a person outside can easily perceive through the holes in the camo that it covers, but really doesn't "hide" the person inside, many animals seem almost to want to be believe that no danger exists. If the prevailing breese is from the animal to you and they thus get no whiff of your presence it's amazing how tolerant they can be of casual slow movemnts you may make "under cover"! Take a swig from a canteen or thermos, unwrap and eat an energy bar, re-position the tripod or monopod....they'll often totally distegard you or merely glance toward the movement and then go back to browsing or ruminating.
