This photo was taken with a Canon ELPH 300HS camera, F/2.7, exposure 1/20sec., ISO 800, No Flash. I know this is only a pocket camera, but I intend to return to the scene, soon and this time I am going to take my new Canon T3i. I am not sure which lens to use, 18-55mm; 28-80mm; or 100-300mm. I will have all [3] with me. I really want a great shot this time. BTW this shot was taken without a tripod or mono pod. I say this because, I am not as steady as I once was. Thank you for looking at my photo and any and all comments will be appreciated.
I know it probably couldnt be helped, but the black " leaf like " objects on the dome was a little distracting. Its a minor thing in my eyes the photo looks great. Like it alot.
You should be to reproduce the scale of this image with your first two lenses. The unfortunate part is your settings will need to changed as the 18-55mm will not go to f/2.7 and neither will the 28-80.
You might want to bring a tripod as the shutter speed will be slower than with your ELPH.

It's a really good photo, I took one similar when we went to Epcot this past summer. Hope you had fun like we always do when we go to Disneyworld.

I really get a sense of the enormity of the structure from your shot, it's almost other-worldly in scope and scale. I like the colors you captured, not sure if that's from post processing work, or not, it doesn't matter because it works. For me, the only distractors are the foliage in the top left of the image, not sure if more would be better, or none at all, when you come back, try both, some with more, some with less and see what works better, but from the amount you currently show, I can't really tell if the foliage was a mistake or if it was intentional.
Perhaps a few steps to the right, and shooting from a slightly lower position would eliminate the foliage entirely without altering the composition too much.
It's a nice pix, and don't sell your "steadiness" short. You did very well. Surprised there's little/no blurring of silhouetted people in the picture.

I agree with Racin17, very good but the black leaves distracting.
I don't find the leaves distracting at all. To me it adds depth.
