Between the born again christians, the extreme opinions expressed all over and the deliberate sabotage of threads that are meant to be informative I am a bit lost.

Is this a photo forum or a 'free for all' made for trolls and their extended families?

The free for all starts on the chit chat non photography section. Yes some times it can get out of hand but sometimes its fun to get the other side bent out of shape. I for one love to poke a stick in the other guys eye.

I am not specifically speaking of this weird forum (chit-chat) but also of others and this where I get it even less.

I do not mind a poke in my eye, it sometime helps me to see better once healed but when you see the despicable behavior of a few here (whole board) I just do not get it.

There are always a few rotten apples in a barrel....ignore them....move on to something else. If a thread gets offensive to me I "unwatch" it by clicking on the appropriate place on the list. This is a very fun and informative forum if you realize that not everyone has the same standards....in the world or here.

As was said..that's the non-photo part of the site...it's MEANT to be "everything non-photography"

Just steer clear of it...simple.

In a forum full of humans you are going to get lots of messiness...that's just the nature of people...

This from a guy who claimed Swamp Gator's photos don't have that "wow" factor bacause he shoots jpeg. I have a little problem with overly critical newbies who want to tell us how to run our forums. It's not that he has control issues, he's got a full subscription!!

I have to agree with rpavich here, this IS general NON photo chat, so unless this whole forum was removed, whilst I disagree with some and believe some peoples comments are absolute crap, as I have said before I believe and support their right to post in the non photo chat whatever they wish as long as it is not and I repeat NOT defamatory towards a single person simply out of spite

In this section it is a little like a free for all but i would strongly disagree that it is the forum as a whole and while on the subject of trolls try looking in the mirror.

I used to have problems as well trying to figure out what was going on in the "Chit-Chat" section but I finally figured it out. If your own opinions or philosophies are anywhere left of "extreme conservative" you're branded as a "troll" by the most active members who frequent this section.

Yeah, I don't like what some have to say, but like many others I will defend to the death the RIGHT for them to do so.
