Good politicians

I would like input from all over the world since UHH is global. Tell us about a GOOD political office holder. From city level to the Congress. The person doesn't have to be named unless you wish to. Cite accomplishments. I would start another thread for bad politicians but I don't want to overload the system. :thumbup:

Any answer is probably personal opinion, but going back to the '70s and '80s, Colorado governor Richard Lamb. He was a democrat in a republican state, and won several times. I was dating a democrat at the time--she couldn't stand him.

The only good politician is a dead one. Somebody had to say it. :-)

Two come to mind here, Pierre Elliot Trudeau (Canadian Prime Mininter) and Rene Levesque (Quebec Premier) Opposites politically but both DRIVEN and HONEST
