D800 AND LEXAR 1000X

I am not sure if I am doing this correctly but here goes. A couple of days ago I posted a discussion regarding Nikon D800 and Lexar 1000X card. This is the end results, even though I had the new 25 in one USB 3.0 card reader it was not compatible with the new UDMA7 format. Lexar was ready to replace the 1000X card and replace my reader with a new UDMA7 3.0 reader at no charge.
I had an old UDMA reader, the tab to open it was broken that why I ordered the 25-1-one reader. I tried the reader with the 1000X card, it worked all the files were imported without and problems and no color bars on the images. Who would had thought that a card reader could cause so much trouble.
My hat is off to Lexar/Micron Consumer Products Group, they seen to have excellent customer service.

Glad you got the issue resolved and nice to hear of good customer service. I use a D800 and Lexar 1000x card with a reader with no problem. If I start getting issues like you posted I'll know where to look.
