Very Touching Video..... and very true
My mother decided to die on 11/9/1994 when her daughter, my sister died of cancer.... She managed this on 2/23/1995 essentially by starving herself to death.
My wife and I took care of her for that entire time and although my mother did not like my wife (and wife knew it) she nursed her and cared for her like she was her own mother.
On 2/21/1995 I left for a working trip to Florida, knowing my mother could pass while I was gone... Had talked this over with my Wife and Brother (who replaced me while I was gone)
Several well meaning people (I suppose they were well meaning) expressed their puzzlement as to why I had left her and gone 1100 miles away... How could I do that....
My answer was... I loved my mother, she knew I loved her, I told her I loved her the last day she was lucid and I told her I loved her as I was going out the door to catch the Plane... I am a Christian and fully believe that I will see her again one day...... BUT telling those you love that you DO LOVE THEM is so important to both...
