My first shots with my SX50 were taken on July 26,2013 of the sunset over our virgin prairie. Stinson Prairie. I love the shots with the compass plants in the foreground.

Beautiful. Imagine when you learn to use your new camera.
All good shots nedbow... I like the cloud formation and color in the first photo the most...

Everyone who posts photos from the SX50 seems to get great results. You have produced a beautiful series, too. I bet you're really enjoying your new toy, and I'll look forward to seeing more.
I got it right before my wife and I cruised up the Danube and down the Rhine from Budapest to Amsterdam on a 15 day cruise. I had a very similar model that I had been using the last few years so it was an easy adjustment but the zoom blew everyone away on board.I took 1800 shots in those two weeks so I am pretty familiar with the camera but I am still learning what it can and actual does do on its own. I am out everyday now and I always carry a couple of cameras to record the day.
